FTA Table Reference

ATICA provides a summary table for tree data and a cut-set table for calculated cut sets.

FTA summary table

The summary table contains tree-element data such as label, name, gate, summary, failure rate, exposure time, and failure probability:

• values can be edited in the table;
• an event's referenced failure information appears in the Event column;
• exact probabilities can be copied from the table.

FTA cut-set table

Column	Meaning
First column	Gate and cut-set titles in a nested structure.
Primary Events	Events included in the cut set.
Order	Order of the cut set.
Minimum Cut Set	Whether the entry is a minimum cut set.
Failure Probability	Probability of the corresponding cut set or event. This column never displays a failure rate.
Relative Importance	Percentage contribution of the cut set to the total failure probability.

The displayed Failure Probability value is always a probability for the corresponding event or cut set, never a failure rate.
