Capella determines the required Java runtime and operating-system support. Check the requirements for the Capella release before installing ATICA or M2Doc.

Commercial bundle

Every commercial ATICA4CAPELLA installation contains the complete product:

Module Capability
MBSA Provides the basic ATICA safety metamodel used to define safety information in the Capella model.
FTA Adds the Fault Tree Analysis metamodel, diagrams, and related analysis capabilities.
Reliability Adds the reliability-analysis capabilities. This module is identified as ATICA_RAF in Capella.

The modules are not separate editions or purchasing options. A customer receives all three modules under one commercial license.

Trial access

The trial is a two-week evaluation hosted in a web-based Capella environment. Submit the ATICA user registration form, and Anzen will contact you with the access details. Trial users do not install a separate evaluation plugin on their own workstation.

Before installation

  1. Confirm that Capella 7 or newer is installed.
  2. Confirm that the ATICA4CAPELLA bundle supplied by Anzen is version 2.0 or newer.
  3. When document generation is required, select the newest M2Doc release compatible with that Capella version.
  4. Install ATICA4CAPELLA.
