Export an FHA Document

Generate an FHA document from Capella with M2Doc and the example FHA template.

Prerequisites

• Install M2Doc.
• Download the example FHA template.

Note

This template is an example. Contact the Innovation Team when the project requires a different document design.

Add the template to the project

1. Select the .aird file in the Capella project tree.
2. From the top toolbar, select Navigate > Show in > System Explorer.
3. Copy the template into the project folder.
4. Right-click the project in the project tree and select Refresh.
5. Confirm that the template appears in the project tree.

Generate the document

1. Right-click the template.
2. Select Initialize Documentation Configurations and select Finish.
3. Confirm that a .genconf file appears in the project.
4. Right-click the .genconf file and select Generate Documentation.
5. Confirm that the generated document appears in the project tree.
6. To open it, right-click the document and select Open With > System Editor.
